HFB | Chimney
The towering chimney dominates the abandoned HFB power plant grounds, standing as a silent reminder of its industrial past. Its weathered bricks and rusted steel reveal decades of decay.
The Chimney from Outside
Looking Straight Up
From the base, the chimney seems endless. The rusted ladder stretches upward into the sky, giving a sense of both awe and dread before the climb even begins. The security guard was looking for me. ;)

Halfway to the Top
Climbing higher, every step feels more dangerous. With no safety gear and the wind howling through broken steel, the view begins to open up over the factory grounds.
Halfway of the chimney
Almost there at the top!
At this height, the ground feels impossibly far away. My hands grip the corroded rungs tighter as the adrenaline builds. The climb becomes a true test of focus and nerve.
Almost there!
Reaching the top
Finally, the top. Standing on the rim of the 100 meter high chimney, the world below seems unreal. It’s both terrifying and breathtaking a moment of triumph in one of my most intense explorations.
On the top!
Some drone shots
From above, the chimney looks like a giant scar in the landscape. The drone captures the scale of both the structure and the decayed industrial world surrounding it. Can you spot me?
