Centrale KV-70

These are multiple visits I have made to this building. The building is located between several steel factories in the city of Liège.

Centrale, also called KV-70, is a former power station that provided electricity distribution to various steel mills in the region. Collateral damage to an industry in decline: This location has been closed for years.

This is the important colorful control room of the exchange. Unfortunately, there has already been a lot of vandalism at this location.

The building is divided into two parts: on the one hand the power plant and on the other hand the distribution station.

In 2009, part of this building was decommissioned. But since 2018, the last transformer hall has been decommissioned
